Joyful Moms Club
Welcome to The Joyful Moms Club, founded by Tosha Rodriguez! We are thrilled to have you here. Our organization is fueled by the transformative power of God, and our mission is to build healthy families for abused and neglected children. We are passionate about sharing the love and joy of Christ with moms in crisis and supporting the agencies working alongside them.
At The Joyful Moms Club, we offer peer support groups that provide a safe space for moms to connect and find encouragement. Our dedicated volunteers have experienced their own redemption and are eager to share their stories, offering hope and inspiration. Our ultimate goal is to help these moms find hope and transformation through a personal relationship with Jesus. By empowering them, we aim to foster strong mothers who can strengthen their families and create a generational blessing.
In addition to our support groups, we also host quarterly appreciation breakfasts for the Department of Social Services (DSS). These events create a joyful and uplifting atmosphere, complete with decorations, music, delicious food, and exciting door prizes. Our caring volunteers bring the light, warmth, and love of Christ into a workplace that can sometimes feel burdened by despair and hopelessness. We firmly believe in the unfailing love of God, and through our joy and encouragement, we strive to make a positive impact not only on the DSS staff but also on the families they serve.
As part of our commitment to supporting DSS, we collect essential items such as toiletries, towels, washcloths, and frozen meals for children in foster care who are temporarily housed at the DSS office due to a shortage of foster homes. We understand the ongoing needs that are not covered by state funding, and we work diligently to address them. For example, we are dedicated to improving visitation rooms for children and families who have been separated during times of crisis.
As our organization continues to grow, we have exciting plans to expand our services and establish different branches dedicated to children’s healing and providing support for foster families and fathers. We are committed to making a lasting impact in the lives of these families and the community as a whole.
